  May 1, 2022 - Vinetasters: 2019 Châteauneuf-du-Pape (Skokie, IL): Served double blind. Almost over-the-top autolytic and yeasty notes on the nose, but palate is surprisingly much more fresh. Intense mushroom notes on the nose. Very apple-forward on the palate. Coarse bead that dissipates quickly. Simplistic but not unpleasant. Seems to have higher dosage; I thought this was a well-made non-Champagne sparkling wine.

  September 11, 2021 - Very good value for a vintage 2008.
  The best value in this price range.
  Good amount of bubbles , nice color and taste.
  Will buy again.

  October 3, 2020 - This champagne is right in my wheel house. Toasty rich oak and yeast, lemon curd, strong acid. Vibrant and slightly deep. Qualitatively it is not tete de cuvee, but I think it hits the vintage mark.

  January 18, 2020 - This is 50:50 Pinot Meunier/Chardonnay
  
  Interesting yeasty/bready nose with flavors or lemon and cream. Moderate to high acid. I also get the prominent bitter apple peel that some others noted, especially on the finish, which took this champagne down a couple of points for me.
