  March 8, 2024 - This is definitely a great wine, and it is clearly the best sweet white wine that I have ever had.
  
  The color is already brown, and there is already some taste of sherry, but otherwise the wine still feels young. However, I am not sure, if any additional maturing would anymore improve the quality of the wine at all.
  
  The wine is dense, thick, intensive, sweet and very fruity on the palate, presenting stunning notes of noble rot, honey and apricot. However, in spite of the sweet and overwhelmingly rich character, the wine was surprisingly fresh on the palate. All in all, this was my first experience of Château d'Yquem, and the experience was great. I fully understand the legendary and special reputation of the wine.

  November 25, 2023 - Bucket List tasting at Wijnkoperij Okhuysen: Open and pretty. Golden color.
  
  Aromas of hazelnut, vanilla, spices and dried fruit.
  
  Rich, thick texture with linear acidity and improbable length. Very cohesive.
  
  Classic, and drinking very well right now.
