March 1, 2019 - Vakhes Wine Fair (Romantso): sampled from magnum, 1 year in 2400lt oak
The wine shows lower intensity in the nose, the palate is far more expressive, the fruit is ripe and clean, the oak is there but well integrated, medium to high acidity, medium body and finish. This one needs a bit more time
I just love his take on Chardonnay, feels like a northern Italian/Austrian, it has this refined elegance.

March 10, 2018 - Oinorama Wine Fair 2018; 3/10/2018-3/12/2018 (Zappeio): Flinty and citrus in the nose, the palate shows richness, impressive mouthfeel, citrus and stone fruit notes, again flinty, med body and finish. Outstanding

February 20, 2018 - Popped and poured. Aromas of green apples, honey, smoke with mineral nuances. In the mouth there is nice balance between the alcohol (13%) and the acidity (high). Christos Zafeirakis focuses on the freshness, all his wines have this elegant style and they can age pretty well. This Chardonnay is something special, I am waiting to try the next bottle in 5 years. 93+ for now.
