February 28, 2024 - Any Rhone (A Side Public House): Drank a small glass over 45 minutes. Consistent with previous note - intellectually intriguing but not particularly satisfying. There is spice and and yellow melon, along with a fair amount of acid.

February 25, 2024 - Monthly Tasting Group: All the Rhones (A - Side Public House, St. Paul, MN): Light gold color. Small glass over an hour. Same bottle as Gelweskj. Similar impression. Spicy, light tropical fruit, gravel, lemongrass and a somewhat bitter finish. 88-89pts.

November 2, 2022 - This bottle is fairly consistent with my experiences of white southern Rhones - intellectually intriguing but not particularly satisfying. There is spice and and yellow melon, along with a fair amount of acid.

March 27, 2022 - I liked this just a point better in my note of 8/20, but this is still a joy to drink. Exciting nose: : lemon honey cough drop, lemongrass, marjoram, thyme, and juicy fruit gum. Rich and viscous, still fine acidity, lots of underripe tangerine, citrus skins, passion fruit, spearmint, and baked apple tart. Wet moss on river rocks, pomelo, and white oak on the finish. 2-3 years of fine drinking for well stored bottles. Paired nicely with yogurt masala marinated and chickpea flour fried chicken, lots of Indian spices, but avoid the hot ones, unless you want to drink oak.

February 5, 2022 - This is the second bottle of a 1/2 case purchased on release and wow has it put on weight and concentration since a bottle drunk about 18 months ago.

    Beautiful medium gold appearance.

Pronounced and evolved nose of honeyed stone fruits, pineapple, vanilla and a hint of baking spice (apple pie w/cinnamon). Beautiful.

Full bodied with just enough acidity, terrific flavor concentration and a long and delicious finish. The appearance, and acidity suggest that this will last another 5 years plus in a cold cellar. As always with these whites- no guarantees!
