Community Tasting Notes 7

July 29, 2023 - Coravin fun - Bordeaux and Mosel (My place, Kent Street): from Coravin. Wet earth, leather, Autumn leaves, brambles, very cold country copse, aa little soy and porcini, tobacco leaf. Slightly sour black and red fruits, coarse flour textured tannins, alcohol warmth on the finish, leather, slight umami and soy notes. Veering rapidly to complete tertiariness but pleasant enough.

December 9, 2018 - Winefield's pre-sale tasting: charming nose and taste, balanced in the finish, sufficient concentration.

January 24, 2018 - Stored in a cold cellar since release. High fill excellent cork. Lovely bouquet. Classic Margaux elegance with depth balance and flavour. Years of life left.
    Grand cru quality. A surprise!

November 17, 2017 - Feels like fruit is fading and this wine is drying, develops Margaux type of elegance and fragrancy in the glass but only up to point, possibly not the best bottle.
