September 11, 2023 - I have had 1 or 2 bottles of various older vintages of this wine (a longtime favorite) and was getting concerned because the wine was a bit off, but this bottle had all of the classic Nusserhof Lagrein features -- super dark color, lots of dark berry and plum fruit, pulled together in a very balanced wine that is medium-bodied, and plenty fresh and food friendly. Great wine!
