  March 25, 2023 - Drinking with 17 AR chambertin. Bottle decant for more than 5 hours. Aroma of metal. Significant metal flavor especially composting with 17 AR chambertin. High acidity and tanning. Ready need to mature the tanning.

  January 28, 2023 - 提前让餐厅瓶醒3小时，到我们品尝完前面来到它面前时，距其打开已过了5个小时了。一进杯子里就有种令人惊呼的香气，纵深柔美，雍容华贵之中透出绵绵之力，野莓和野果、覆盆子、草莓、甘草梅子、樱桃罐头、圣女果干等等果味，带着轻微柑橘的香调，营造出一种难以描述的香气，中间穿插着一抹贵气而略带妖艳的紫色，紫罗兰、玫瑰精油提携着野花丛，引人进入深处，窥见一些森林，然后是结实的沉香乌木，带着红木的光滑纹理，轻微的香根草和小豆蔻……些许金属感。入口单宁多而密，但是细腻丝滑，慢慢流过口腔，结构大，口感丰满性感，轮廓分明，柔中带刚，绵绵之劲一直在口中舒展，口感中的香型同香气基本一致，各种野浆果、野花和木质，在端庄华丽中带着些许野性的妖媚，时而清纯，时而妖艳，时而雍容，就像是一首多面的诗，把各种特质都包含其中，很是诱人。美中不足的是向内凝聚的汇集感稍微弱了一筹。中后段的沉香、各种香料和轻微的矿物感修饰着，收尾很长，最少停留了10秒以上，过后还蒸腾着甜美的花果香气。
  
  到了7个小时的时候，香气收摄出一股纯净而复合的鲜花精油味，紫罗兰、玫瑰，乃至些许玉兰，在甜的檀香、沉香的映衬下显得格外突出。此时口感已经趋于圆满，力与美结合，在口中勾连缠转，甚是美丽，若贵妃，只欠了一分内蕴与大气。97+/100

  March 11, 2022 - Some Wine Tasted at the Zachys La Paulée Auction; 3/10/2022-3/11/2022 (Le Bernardin Prive - New York NY): Small pour, brief note. Alongside the Chambertin. As usual, the Chambertin-Clos de Bèze is more alluring in its youth, with the big boy more reticent. Spice, meat and an array of black fruit seem in perfect harmony. Not the most powerful vintage for this wine, but the balance will still turn heads. Very good already, but better to hold at least a few more years, and then enjoy for a few more decades.

  August 16, 2021 - Obviously a very young wine. Opened to check in + it's just fun to drink Rousseau at any age. Deep red in color. Bright cherry and primary red fruit, plenty of fresh acidity. The silky elegance is undeniable. Incredible wine.
