Community Tasting Notes 4

September 14, 2023 - Pale red with reflections of ruby and slight fading towards the rim. An appealing, if somewhat somber red from one of the Côte de Beaune's outer boroughs, this offers aromas of dried red cherries, fresh black cherries, autumn leaves, topsoil and toast. On the palate this is medium to full bodied with medium acidity, and a nice balance of ever so slightly coarse tannins and sweet, dried red and black fruit flavors. Tasty, but not cerebral like the whites made at this address.

July 1, 2022 - Notes de conifères et de vendanges entières, belle acidité, du corps, encore jeune, bien fait. 89-90

Whole cluster feel, nice acidity, good grip, still young, nicely done

June 6, 2018 - Deliciously pure red fruits, rose petals and mineral on the nose. It is compact and tight in the mouth for now, with fruit shrink wrapped tight against all of the geological matter. Length is good.

April 21, 2018 - There’s 30% whole bunch here and you get a whiff of rose petal. Fruit flavours are all cherry and plum and there’s a touch of spice. It has a chalky base and there’s plenty of floral nuance. Length is good.
