March 13, 2024 - Not advanced, but ready to drink. Complex aromatics of white peach and some exotic fruits, smoke, mint and spice. It is full, layered and silky. It combines power with elegance and has great shape and drive. Length is impressive.

March 1, 2024 - Some Wine Tasted at the Acker La Paulée Auction (Maybourne Hotel - Beverly Hills CA): Tasted at auction. Wonderfully rich and lush with lots of baked apple and lemon confit, this has the energy to retain freshness for the medium term. Very good length.

July 20, 2023 - Vosne 1er vs GC: Not nearly as fatty as some anticipated given the vintage and Ramonet's style, but did have a roundness from the warmth of the vintage. Needed air to develop, but multi-layered and textural.

May 27, 2022 - Marries weight and finesse, apple and lemon curd, hint of tropical fruit, floral lift, perfectly integrated oak, excellent overall harmony, elegant rather than powerful, beautifully constructed, everything in place, silky and seamless, expansive finish, excellent length. A subtle rendition of the Bâtard theme, quite an intellectual wine. At restaurant La Cabane, Chassagne-Montrachet, France.
