  January 27, 2023 - Color not showing its age. Nose features sweet cherry, rhubarb, and tobacco, along with dried fig, orange, and moist soil. Medium bodied with bright acid and a modest amount of dense, finely grained tannin. Collectively the structure is very well balanced and slightly mouth coating. Flavors include cherry, red plum, salmon berry, dried savory, tobacco, orange zest, lilac, violet, and pink peppercorn. This is growing into itself nicely, and I imagine it'll be prime in 3-5 years.

  December 24, 2019 - Perfectly balanced with hints of smokiness on the nose, but velvety & smooth on the finish. Great moderately complex profile after 1 hr decanted.

  March 9, 2019 - Celebrating Women Winemakers (Weygandt Wines - Washington, D.C.): Nice stuff. Good amount of cherry and currant fruit on a bed of evolved, velvety tannins and moderate acidity. Earthy, savory, floral, herbal, anise notes are starting to come out. Not super deep but delicious.
