July 23, 2023 - Belle surprise, fraises des champs, épices, un fruité éclatant et exhubérant, pamplemousse aussi, belle acidité et fraîcheur en bouche, pas certain que ca va vieillir longtemps mais bon en l’état.

Gorgeous and very aromatic nose of red fruit, strawberries, some grapefruit too, fresh and with nice acidity, really a nice surprise.

July 16, 2022 - Light ruby color, clear edges. Aromas of fresh fig & pomegranate, hibiscus tea, allspice berry, clove oil, hints of pine resin. Generous red fruit on the palate, round and textured, with integrated secondary dusty nutmeg and coriander spices. Juicy acid, airy elegant density throughout, with richness and detail and moving toward fleshy fine-grained tannins, finishing with dry elegant fruit and moderately long length. Showing well.

September 3, 2021 - Very smooth, fruity, and lightly Dijon tang taste at end.

May 22, 2021 - kbbq at mrbry's: Light burgundy color.
    Nose earthy, feral.
Palate nice balance of dark fruits, some earthiness.

Needs time/air, I think, but nice stuffing.
Opened soon after Jim Clenden's passing -- RIP.

May 5, 2021 - This is about as good as CA pinot gets, which is remarkable for the price. Medium bodied, silken textured, a hint of bricking at the rim; cooked raspberries, cranberries; a touch of stem; a touch of oak spice. Marred only by some terror-inherent rhubarby/cola/bitterness, but you can't come to Santa Barbara and expect none of that.
