April 8, 2023 - Ramps and Riesling Fest (Washington, DC): A burst of peaches and sea salt on the nose, with hay, clover, orange rind, pleasant new can of tennis balls. The pate is super racy, dry, and tart, and I love it. The fruit (orange, pear, white peach) has enough concentration to balance that taut frame, and it works out really well. Flinty, minty, stony, crushed shells and sweet tart vibes on the finish. Really good, and I’d love to see it in five or six years.

March 13, 2023 - Pnp petrol noticeable after warming from fridge temp, but not to the point of detracting (for me), spicy, med+ acid and highly quaffable.
Would buy again.
Had with Korean noodles and rice (that was not spicy). Pairing was neutral. Went better by itself before and after dinner. Better fit would be with spicy Thai food. $26 on sale. -

May 14, 2021 - I drink very little riesling so I won't attempt to rate it. But I would say that it needs at least 45 minutes air to settle down. Then the petroleum nose becomes less overpowering, and the palate develops a dry edge, particularly on the finish, which provides a reasonable balance.
Personally though I've never managed to persuade myself to like the basic taste of riesling grapes.1 person found this helpful Comment
