January 24, 2024 - Very elegant and light on its feet. A slightly unusual myrtille and bay aroma perfumes this, but the rest if fairly textbook Barolo in a lighter La Morra-like style. Not sure this is one for the long haul, but if midweek Barolo is a thing, this would be it.

February 26, 2023 - This wine is intensive, refined, tight, structured, acidic and tannic on the palate. The wine is moderately fruity, featuring elegant flavors of red berries, wet leaves and earth. The wine is fully drinkable now, but it will probably be even more balanced and more integrated after a few years of ageing.

    December 17, 2022 - Bottle decanted for 8 -12 hours.
    App: pale ruby
Nose: medium intensity; aromas of red cherry, sour cherry, black olive, red rose petals, toast, orange peel. It’s developing.
Palate: dry, high acidity, high tannins and grippy, high alcohol, medium plus body, medium plus flavour intensity, medium plus finish.
Still very tight. Too closed to drink now.
Left some in the bottle for the second day (30 hrs after opening). It’s better than day 1 but the floral and red fruit notes are still quite subtle and distant comparing to other traditional or modern Barolo I had before.
