October 20, 2019 - Mineral, citrus, green apple and herbal with a hint of almond (a third is oak fermented).
Another third is made in amphorae, the stainless steel being the last portion. After blending, the wine is matured in amphorae too, for six months on the lees, giving extra texture.
Despite the technicalities the wine has an easy going fruity and floral profile and not much personality/complexity. Not very long, beautiful label.

Vidiano exhibits much of the versatility of Chardonnay, yielding unoaked and oaked versions, working with and without malolactic conversion, and making sparkling wines too. -
