April 16, 2023 - Fragrant aromas of saturated dark red fruits, herbal leather tones and a mineral edge, that lead to a palate staining yet elegant blast of dark red fruits with a slight chalkiness that lingers.

Frekar dökkt á litinn. Í nefi, skítalykt, næstum æla í byrjun. Það hvarf svo hratt. Svo koma tjörutónar, bik. Þar á eftir kom ávöxtur, kirsuber. Einnig vanilla. Þægilegur ilmur. Sýrumikið á tungu. Líka ber, ljós kirsuber. Svo koma óþægilegri tónar. Barkartónar sem voru ekki alveg að gera sig ásamt brenndum nótum í lokin. Frekar þunnt líka. Vín sem kostar 23,5€ og er langt frá því að skila til baka. Slappt QPR í mínum huga. -

October 16, 2020 - Tempranillo med några procent garnacha och den gröna albillo. Dessutom fottrampat. 19 månader på gamla franska fat. Toner av smått jästa bär, björnbär, svarta vinbär, kaffe och mörka plommon. En viss örtigheten visar sig med mynta och stjälkighet samtidigt som det finns tuffa tanniner. Ungt!! Man kanske har haft lite för bråttom. Rekommenderas verkligen om man gillar krävande viner.

July 8, 2019 - Euro 23,95. This Ribera del Duero didn’t speak loudly of Tinto Pais and I know earlier vintages mixed in other grape varieties, so I’d be pleased to know what went in here. It is a distinctive and very appealing wine, that spikes my interest notwithstanding the relatively elevated price point. Vibrant purple robe, attractive fresh fruit aromas ranging from strawberry to bilberry, clean and precise in the mouth, opening up nicely after a slightly austere opening. Nice.
