Community Tasting Notes 6

February 24, 2024 - Opened for 2 hours. Color is translucent brick red with brown/orange rim. On the nose: forest floor, cherry, tar and herbs. On the palate: Forest floor, Cherry, rose, tar, lots of dusty tannins, bit of menthol and red fruit notes. Good length. Elegant and beautiful . This wine is very young and needs at least 5 years.

October 1, 2022 - Wonderful balance. Dusty cherry flavor. A bit tart, but not too much. Great wine for the price.

August 11, 2022 - Three Tastings and a Meal in Paso Robles; 8/11/2022-8/13/2022 (Paso Robles, California): Light color. Very forward and fragrant with strong pine notes. Medium weight. Soil, not overly ripe cherry, and sun-dried tomato. Surprisingly open and unbound by its structure now.

October 6, 2021 - Jess and Matt loved this wine.. Matt said if they ever got deserted on an Island to make sure they took a case of this with them..

September 14, 2021 - Terlato Cru Tasting (Ever - Chicago IL): Tasting, brief note. Massive black and red cherry with so much impressive concentration, but also so much firm structure, that makes me find this backward and brooding today. So much here, and certainly 93-94+ point potential, but I would not open a bottle until 2030 or later.
