February 7, 2024 - NobleRottersSydney - Bordeaux night (Glass Brasserie, Sydney): {cork, 13.5%} [Aaron] A 75/25 blend of SB and semillon. Vivid nose of taut asparagus, celery, shallots, minerals and sand. Never seemed to suggest unripeness despite the green-tinged aromas. And the palate proved it so; much juicier, with gooseberry (some asparagus) no oak, and an increasing grassiness as it sat in the glass. Light/medium in weight only, the finish was quite even and short/medium in length. Straightforward, enjoyable wine ready to drink.

March 31, 2023 - Just had the red one last night and now trying the white. Lemon cream, delicate spice and wet stone. It has good concentration, but a lighter style white with great flow, seamless. Elegant and harmonious. It is a bit straightforward and enjoyable. Ready to drink now. The pleasure you get from this wine exceeds the modest price you pay for it.

November 21, 2021 - A private dinner (Restaurant Café Caron, Amsterdam, NL): A blend of 75% Sauvignon Blanc and 25% Sémillon from a 2.3 hectare clay-limestone vineyard in Mouillac, half fermented in tank, half fermented in oak (20% new), aged for 8 months in barrel. This wine divided opinion tonight. The positives are the succulent generosity of the fruit, the complexing oak spice and vegetal notes and the flavoursome harmony, but there is also a lack of playful definition. It is solid but also a bit stolid.

March 9, 2021 - Grape fruit, lemon peel, guava, green apple and banana aromas are a lot of fun to work with in the perfume. But it is the fresh, vibrant palate, with its crisp bite of yellow citrus accompanied by fresh topical accents that really makes this work. The wine was made from 75% Sauvignon Blanc and 25% Semillon.

April 19, 2019 - Hints of tropical fruit and yellow citrus fruits come to you with a tint of honey. On the palate, the wine is round, fresh and refreshing. The wine was made from 75% Sauvignon Blanc and 25% Semillon.
