  February 9, 2020 - Mas de Daumas Gassac Tasting and Dinner (Restaurant De Lage Vuursche, Lage Vuursche, NL): Made from 100% Cabernet-Sauvignon, cuve close. Lactic, strawberries, cherries, fresh, lively mousse, not refined but fresh and lively, a great wine for summer.

  February 4, 2020 - A private dinner (Restaurant De Lage Vuursche, Lage Vuursche, NL): Pale salmon colour; expressive nose, strawberries and fresh cherries, elderflower, delicately yeasty, good depth with a hint of spice; supple and juicy attack, lovely tension between and sweet fruit, easy drinking, even buttery when slightly warmer, but not too sweet; slightly fuzzy finish but good persistence. You could do worse on a warm summer’s day.

  September 15, 2019 - Off-dry sparkling is what I usually bring to gatherings because they are fun and usually less stern-faced. This is that.
  
  Cotton candy pink. A dance of red berries and flowers. It’s a blend of mostly Cabernet from initial runoff and done tank method.
