March 18, 2023 - No decant. Very approachable right from the start but better after a few hours. Generous oak accompanied by soft/jammy blue/blackberry, dark chocolate…lots going on here. Stylistically opulent yet refined. Drinking well now but needs time to come together.

November 3, 2021 - 2021 Guigal single vineyard cote rotie release dinner (Bel & Brio, Barangaroo): Fresh red and blackberry, a little fresh plum, smells juicy, a little whole bunch spiciness. And so it proves on the palate, backed by persistent, long, drying tannins, balanced, fleshy, fresh. Lovely
