April 7, 2024 - Dark red fruits, graphite rocks, hint of mountain shrub freshness. Thought the fruit here was a bit more dense and compact. Not showing much age at all.
Density of fruit reflective of the vintage IMO. I like the direction the newer wines are going to emphasize freshness and character. -

February 12, 2024 - Napa and Sonoma, January 2024: Tasted at winery.
Deep ruby color.
Complex nose, with dark cherry, rosemary, and rocks.
On the palette, notable acidity, mellow tannins, long finish. Some spice in the back. Will definitely benefit from several years in the bottle and would love to taste this again in 2027. -

November 24, 2023 - Tasted at the winery along with 2019 Penultimate and 2021 Promontory barrel sample. Well balanced and structured with layers of violet, blackberry, licorice, plum throughout the mid palette, with powerful yet finesse tannin. 97pts
