February 8, 2020 - interesting wine, animal, earth and raspberries on the nose, masculine, medium bodied, dry, the palate is musky, with hints of dark chocolate, blackberry, dried cherry, mineral, herb and plum, complex and savory, dark and brooding, this is a BBQ wine for sure

November 14, 2019 - Gordon's Festa d'Italia (Artists for Humanity Center - Boston MA): Walk around tasting, brief note. Red and black cherry with a tannic start and softer middle. Better to cellar a year or two, then enjoy as a simple, fun wine.
