October 6, 2023 - nose of gooseberry, lemon, sesame, some grass with earthy funky notes. on the palate, medium body, medium high acidity, vibrant fruit with lemon, pineapple, tropical notes, some saline minerality, some green plants, hints of oak and caramel sesame near the finish. very elegant, balanced and precise.

February 25, 2023 - Lime, melon, pineapple. Fine. Good intensity here. Smoky. Balanced acid. Lovely with food.
    Drink or hold.

January 7, 2022 - More floral and less dense than Silex. Pleasant, becomes more interesting with air.

    August 8, 2021 - Overall, a disappointment
Decanted and put back in bottle, and drink an hour later over the following three hours
Muted aromas with some herbal and pepper notes
The palate was more fruity with tart gooseberries
This wine clearly needs another 3-5 years to settle down but be careful if consuming it young

June 14, 2021 - French White and Rosês (Grapes & Grains, Temecula, CA): Tasted blind. Correctly identified as Sauvignon Blanc (Pouilly-Fume).

Dry; intense concentration on the nose, subtle smokiness. More moderate in intensity than New Zealand. Insane acidity; tight flavors of gooseberry, citrus leaf, lemon zest, and lime peel. Lip smacking, amazingly lengthy finish.
