September 9, 2022 - 200 Burgundy Grand Crus from vintage 2000, 4-day blind tasting (Singapore): Strong Maggy note. Fully maderised.

November 10, 2017 - Really beautiful aromatics coming from the whole clusters. I agree with Burgundy Al on the 94 point nose. But the palate came close. It was really elegant, lifted, with a perfect balance between sweet fruit and acidity, with an almost minty, floral phenolics in the background. Just lovely.

November 17, 2015 - This is very elegant and lacks of power.

2000 is an elegant vintage, good for Burgundy wine but if one expected too high then may be disappointed very easy.

I also expected more due to the timing of drinking. This wine has everything, nice things. It's good to drink after meal with good friends.

    By the way, I prefer 1998, 1999 and 2002.

June 20, 2012 - Burg Dinner, Mostly Meursault Charmes and Gevrey-Chambertin Grand Cru (Sepia - Chicago IL): Sensational perfumed aromas to start with classically "Leroy" styled aromas. Unfortunately not as "Leroy" on the palate with very ripe red and black fruit showing a slightly muddy character and very advanced finish. "94 point" nose and "84 point" palate.

January 9, 2011 - Drank at 97, 2000 tasting at Riccardo. Great spice, earth and black cherry. Without a doubt, the wine of the night with the '01 Meo CV showing more density, but lacking the balance and complexity.
