Community Tasting Notes 6

July 2, 2022 - Very good CM village level. Nice red fruits and a touch of sunflowers on the nose. Bright and persistent with a currant element and then earthy dry down. Balanced and coherent. Very nice.

February 12, 2022 - Really interesting nose with some forest floor funk dominating, as well as secondary red and black fruit notes. A bit less complex on the palate, but nonetheless very good with nice weight and freshness. Paired well with duck, and would no doubt pair well with any of the classic red burgundy food pairings.

January 12, 2022 - Flickinger Customer Appreciation Tasting (Casino Club - Chicago IL): Walk-around tasting. Ripe red fruit with good weight for its village level. Faint spice and any other nuance, so somewhat simple for now, but certainly both fun and well balanced.

January 12, 2022 - Ripe, rich fruit is attractive and nicely balanced. Not showing a lot of nuance yet today, but seems to have the balance to come into its own in 5-10 years. Good concentration for a village Les Cras.
