  December 19, 2016 - Better than bottle in the spring, but time to drink up. Low fizz, but good light yellow color spoke to fine condition. Light elegant texture with nice lemon citrus flavors. Medium depth of flavors and quite good overall for the age. Shows just hints of oxidation as one would expect. Fun to try and was my last bottle. For Boys Birthday dinner at House 406.

  July 30, 2016 - Served blind. Remarkable nose of wild herbs/fresh cut flowers and grass. Interesting and unique element in my experience of champagne that was then also noted in the older cuvée Williams to follow. No hint of oxidation here. Dark gold/copper colour. Very little petillance left. Intriguing wine.

  April 3, 2016 - Good fine bubbles and light dry elegant style. Lacks fruit, but remains pretty for delicate crisp texture. Highly drinkable, just not very interesting.
