    February 8, 2022 - Nicely honeyed and spiced, edging between citrus and orchard perfumes, but not cloying or soapy. The semillon creeps out slightly with just a bit of smoky complexity. I agree with the previous note that this is one of those wines that performs equally well with cheese and pudding. Very nice.

    February 6, 2020 - A dinner for two (Frenchie, Covent Garden, London): £16.50/glass. To go with Roquefort and Beaufort cheeses (with two different honeys and seed crackers), as well as the banoffee, nutmeg and caramelised pecan mousse. Terrific with both. Deep and rich and treacly without being at all cloying, a pleasant surprise given the depth of colour.
