March 21, 2024 - purpurrot im Glas, subtiles Bukett nach roten Früchten, am Gaumen easy drinking, elegant, mit Konturen, seidige Tannine, wieder rote Früchte, für jede Gelegenheit

August 27, 2021 - Eðalklúbbur, sumarsmakk #2 2021 (Hlíðarás 10): Frekar ljóst á litinn. Lítur út fyrir að vera ungt. Ferskur ávöxtur í nefi, sæta og svo súrhey. Síðan komu mangó og ananas, suðrænir tónar. Ilmurinn frekar þægilegur. Annað var hins vegar uppi á teningnum þegar var smakkað á því: Talað var um ananas. Annars var mikil sýra í munni líka mikil eik. Rammt, súrt og í ójafnvægi. Afskaplega óspennandi vín.
Eftir að hafa séð hvað Banfi vínið var ljóst þá var ekkert hik á mönnum að fara beint til Ítalíu og enda í Chianti héraðinu. Það var ekki svo slæmur árangur. -

Med brick red color; bit dull/cloudy. Woodsy, soil-driven aromas with some oak in the background. Oaky, slightly muddled, four-square and anonymous palate. Nothing of interest for my palate.
