November 18, 2023 - Becky Wasserman and Terlato Cru Tasting (Knightsbridge - Northbrook IL): Walkaround tasting. Showcasing the Gevrey-like character of Morey with a cherry core and some meatiness. Good density for its level. This has put on weight since first tasted in mid-2022.

May 4, 2023 - This needed about 90 min in the glass to unfurl. Will be better in 5 years and drink well for a decade. Good stuffing but balance isn’t great. I agree with Burgundy Al’s review as well. Revisit 2025

April 3, 2022 - Blind Tasting Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in an "Old World" Style (Holiday Inn - Skokie IL): Double blind in Pinot Noir flight. Good ripeness, weight, and balance with a tasty cherry core. Just lacking a structured through-line, but a perfectly good ripe wine Village level wine.

April 3, 2022 - Vinetasters: (mostly) Oregon chardonnay and pinot noir (Skokie, IL): Served double blind. A bit distinct from the rest of the wines in the flight; far more complete on the palate, with a bit of a darker-fruited, iron quality. Some black cherry as well, but the tannins on the back end are a little clunky and stern. Nonetheless, quite enjoyable now, even if it doesn't have the depth for long-term aging. My 1st, group's 3rd.
