April 4, 2014 - Blew another cork. Ran up all sides of cork. No affect on the wine. Turning my friends into Syrah lovers one bottle at a time

November 24, 2013 - Wow. I was very worried when the cork blew up into a thousand pieces, but no issues with this wine. Just bought 2 of these along with 2 '07 Sequel Syrah's and 2 '08 Like Father Like Son Syrah/Petit Syrah's at MDL. Dark fruit, earthy. Beautiful. I have been very happy with Novy Syrah's.

November 18, 2012 - Very dark red, med red edge. Nose has blackberries and spice. Dark flavours, powerful, alcohol and well balanced, otherwise.

February 14, 2010 - Lots of big berry, currant and some pepper with a nice finish
