September 10, 2012 - The wine was medium reddish brown in colour. It offered bouquet of flowers, roses, green twigs, almond, peanut, macadamia nut, chocolate and mocha on the nose. On the palate the wine showed cherry, caramel, toffee, nuts, chocolate, coffee, black tea, and lots of burned caramel on the finish. It was viscous and extremely sweet (I don’t remember the exact figure, but the sugar content was around 230g/l) and had incredible length. The wine indeed reminded of 20-year-old Tawny, only much, much sweeter than all Tawnys I am accustomed to. I really liked the interesting flavour profile, but didn’t finish the 500ml-bottle in three weeks as I was unable to stand the level of sweetness.

October 22, 2008 - Kedington Australian night (Fringe Club, Hong Kong): Vegetal, fetid, green mulch. Then dark ricj bitter chocolate. Then raisiny fruit cake. Palate is more 'portesque'. Smooth with a tannic back bone. Good warm finish.
