June 5, 2021 - Broadly equal quantities of Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. My experience rather at odds with recent notes. Rather muddled and disjointed. Perhaps not a perfect bottle.

December 28, 2019 - A bottle I bought recently from a trustworthy reseller. Dark garnet in colour. The wine smelled evolved and was mature Sangiovese-driven on the palate: Very earthy, with sweet red and dark fruit, raisins, cherry, bubble gum, coffee and some chocolate, joined by black tea from the Sangiovese and meaty notes from the Merlot. Good acidity, fine tannin and very good length. Slightly drying on the finish. But the wine grew on me over time as it breathed and warmed up, and it worked well with food. Good on day one after some aeration, less enjoyable on day two. One of those wines for Italians with serious hair on their chests… Drink now.

April 9, 2017 - Very well balanced. Light tannins, mellow fruit. Drinking well.

January 24, 2017 - Green vegetables come to mind specially green peppers, balance tannings, past its prime

June 27, 2014 - This is still drinking really well and there is a good balance between fruit and oak.Tannins are still quite firm. I reckon this is perfect for drinking now .I am not sure whether it will improve with age but lovely now.
