  January 20, 2024 - Sometimes on just has to forget the wine nerd narrative (yes, its too young, yes, it will be better in 10 years, yes, yes yes I know) but damn it, once in a while a nice round, plump Bordeaux can be a think of beauty.
  
  This has all the texture and gummyness and stickiness of black fruit that you would expect but what it also has is a streak of freshness that stops this being some dumb-as-a-brick-wall fruit bomb.
  
  Serve fresh from the cellar and this is great fun - as it warms up the youth of fruit flattens and fattens. Enjoyable for what it is right now, with obvious wine-nerd approved "upside".

  Well balanced with vibrant fruits and oaky undertone. Less concentrated than Canon. Not the most complex but will drink well. Good value considering the price.

  June 27, 2022 - Tasted at the UGC event in NYC. This wine was a total stunner. It opens with flowers and fruit but containes nice smokey flavor of barbecue. A finish to die for. Punches way above it's price. Just under the best in the appellation. I believe that this will improve as it ages. Highly recommended.

  March 29, 2022 - Floral, earthy, smoky, and racy, the wine exudes class and charm with its layers of medium-bodied, soft, fresh, pure, silky, vibrant, mineralistic, red berries. Vibrant and refined, with length and complexity, this is so good now and it is only going to get better with age. This is a clear contender for the best vintage of Grand Mayne ever produced! Drink from 2024-2042.

  June 8, 2020 - Quite floral, you also find notes of licorice, espresso and earthy nuances to accompany all that beautiful, ripe, red fruit. Soft, silky and refined, this elegant, medium-bodied charmer will be better with 5-7 years in the cellar and should age and evolve for another 2 decades after that. 92-94 Pts
