January 12, 2024 - Excellent, but ready to be drunk. Cherry with a bit of old raspberry on the front. Lots of leather, shoe polish, and tar. Beautiful, long finish. Wish I had more.

November 24, 2023 - Slightly disappointing on this particular occasion.
The oak was very noticeable on this occasion, which was not the case on previous occasions.
    Lacked usual elegance.

May 22, 2022 - Opened at Il Centro Alba
First impression, drinking young and needed more time in the decanter
Developed deeper cherry and more depth :45 in.
    Best in hour two.

December 7, 2021 - Dark garnet color turning amber rust at the rim with a transparent edge. The nose gives off smoky, elegant floral notes with leathery earth on fig notes. The palate is medium-bodied with soft, silky tannins that effortlessly glide through medium acidity that balances the black olives, fig paste, and orange liqueur with secondary notes of old leather, vanilla and nutmeg on the edges that’s carried through a long, focused finish. Drink now.

February 26, 2021 - From glass. Oh, oh, oh! Knew right away from the nose this was going to be magical. The deeper you breathe in the more you get: inhale this deep and it’s red fruits and tobacco; inhale a little deeper you get violets and game; inhale a little deeper...you get the idea: like moving up locks in a canal. Potpourri, baked vegetables. There’s sweet game and roasted game. Dill-cran. One forceful whiff and it all swirls together and, oh, oh... And then the palate, is it ever luxurious of texture. Such a tender pulse of astringency in there too. All of those flavors in harmonious ocean flow. Still a tiny little gripping there from the tannins. Roasted radish. Heavens. I have been overwhelmed.
