July 2, 2022 - Stone fruits and honeysuckle on the nose. Ripe pear, maybe a little wet stone on the finish. Nice balance, not overly acidic.

June 24, 2022 - Nice nose with peach, pears, orange blossom and elderflower. Peach, green apples, honey and lovely minerality. High acidity that balance the sweetneas great. Develops nicely during 3 days in the fridge and shows candied lemon, pineapple and wonderful smoke. Fully integrated. First bottle of six and it will be a true treat to follow the development. Next bottle 2025.

January 21, 2022 - Beautiful long Schaefer. Pear apple honey and lemon nose, more lemon peach and grapefruit palate. Long tart mouth watering finish. Hmm grapefruit. Delicious. These young Schaefer Kabs are ready open and so enjoyable. At this stage of this vintage I like this GH more than the Domprobst, which seems to have closed early.

May 3, 2021 - All honey and cream with a long honeyed citrus finish. Medium richness gives this a really lovely texture. Perfectly balanced, utterly enjoyable now.
