October 31, 2023 - Phil's impromptu tasting fun (Phil's place, Putney, Sydney): Buttery with grapefruit, leesy, almost a little passion fruit. Not a very Chardonnay nose fruitwise. Juicy, fleshy, textured burr, saline, lemon, a little almond skin bitterness. Interesting and kind of nice but not really displaying any typicity for me.

November 12, 2022 - A monster tasting at Laszlo's: Blind. Buttery popcorn, smoke and orange on the nose. Palate is tangy and quite rounded with plenty of rich fruit and oak. Medium length. An interesting data point.

September 11, 2021 - Vino nacido en la provincia de Chubut, más precisamente en Sarmiento, a 45° de latitud sur, lo que muchos consideran como el límite para hacer vinos en el mundo.
El clima seco y frío y los vientos permanentes por un lado complican el mantenimiento de los viñedos, pero por el otro favorecen la vitivinicultura orgánica.
Este chardonnay nace de la selección de los bloques 3 y 6 provenientes de la chacra 22. Luego de la fermentación alcohólica y sin realizar la fermentación maloláctica se trasiega a foudres de roble francés hasta cumplir una crianza de 16 meses.
No recuerdo un chardonnay argentino tan bueno. 😍
Tiene notas a jazmines, peras, durazno blanco y tomillo.
En boca también aparecen notas herbales y especiadas.
Sorprenden su acidez y complejidad. 🎩
Creo que es lo más parecido a un Borgoña blanco que he tomado. Me pareció excelente y creo que tiene potencial para crecer bastante en botella. 💣
