April 12, 2023 - Monthly Tasting Group HWS: VDP Grosses Gewachs (By BS): Just a few notes. Honey, beautiful sweetness and acidity. Still very fresh and a delicious wine.

May 13, 2020 - Nose of Mead and canned yellow peach with touch of botrytis. Good concentration, sweet peach, honey with spicy botrytis funk (a good funk). Coming from this vineyard it’s a bit disappointing, lacks tension, adequate acidity and that classic Wurtz spice. Enjoyed over two days,. Purchased as direct import upon release, stored accordingly and enjoyed 40-50 on its own. Drink’em if you have them... Na zdrowie

December 16, 2017 - Aging well. Fun to drink. Refreshing to drink.

December 20, 2013 - Notes of yellow peach, honey and mead elements. Wine is rich, full and long with deep mid palate and moderate underlying acidity. The wine is not overly sweet or cloying as there is enough acid and age to keep it moving along the palate. Having 9.5% alcohol is a plus and helps keep the wine balanced. There is a good deal of botrytis cinerea which adds to the complexity. Consumed with spicy smoked dry rubbed pork ribs this wine was a great match. Looking forward to seeing how this ages out. Purchased from importer and stored accordingly, consumed 45-50, drink or hold… Na zdrowie.

August 25, 2012 - Definitely a dessert wine. Honeyed, floral, ripe stone fruits, decent acidity. Lovely.
