September 6, 2023 - Never been disappointed by any Domaine Weinbach wine we've had over the years.
Good on PnP but improves with air and a slight warmup from the fridg. Silky viscosity, savory, not acidic more plush, smooth, soft.
Wasn't necessarily complex or fruity, but really enjoyed the subtle melon, elderflower and apricot notes.
Loved the texture of the wine.
Ready today and should hold for a few years.

March 25, 2023 - Enjoyed at Suragan - multilayered and bone dry.

January 30, 2023 - Nose of lemon, peach and sea air. Agree with Brendel--there is a touch of cheese as well. Tastes of lemon and peach fruit. Nice minerality. Medium + acidity. Intensity was only good. 90+ Good match with Germain L'Affine au Chablis cheese (which is a "stinky" cheese).

August 26, 2022 - Citrus peel and apricots, with something savory in the background. Beautifully balanced acidity and minerality on the palate.

August 6, 2022 - The color is pale straw.

On the nose the wine has beautiful notes of cheese, which I love so much in a white, along with zesty citrus notes of lemon, melon, some white flowers, elderflower.

On the palate the cheese notes continue, a bit salty, fermented, and savory, this is a wide wine with a lot going on. The acidity is medium plus but well balanced; not linear. Peaches. Buttery quality.

    Finish is nice, medium length.

On day two the wine is perhaps even better. This will go incredibly well with cheese. Absolutely delicious to our taste.

Purchased at Cave d’Ulysse in Margaux. €38. For the cost, this is absolutely superb wine, probably one of the best QPR we’ve come across. Absolutely need to try more Riesling.
