October 18, 2023 - Too young and closed. Needs time in the cellar. #rest.Frank

December 9, 2022 - Long session at Wimborne. Drank in Grassl Cru.
Appearance is clear, pale intensity, purplish ruby colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of boysenberry, purple fruits, ripe dark red cherries. Youthful.
On the palate, dry, medium+ dipping acidity, medium+ alcohol (14%), medium+ tannins, medium+ body. Medium+ flaovur intensity, with flavours of deep ripe dark red cherries, boysenberries, fruity berries. Medium+ finish.
Good quality. Has depth of ripe fruit, but quite one-dimensional otherwise and I can't help but feel like I might as well drink some New World Pinot with more character from Sonoma or NZ.
Quite sad to discover that I actually have a bottle of this in my inventory. Oh well lets see how it ages.

November 30, 2022 - Absolutely lovely. Showing some baby fat. Intense fruit. This will age well.

November 16, 2022 - Lovely dark fruit with some light sous bois, well balanced and very elegant especially for being so young. Would love to follow this over time. Can drink now or hold for later enjoyment.

November 14, 2022 - Vosne or Volnay?: Very pleasurable and one of the more accessible 2019s. Dark blackcurrant fruit but had a sturdiness to the wine that made me think this was a Volnay. Liked the layered depth of the fruit on this. Got a little new-worldish when I revisited it at the end of dinner when it turned a little too dense and sweet but the earlier pours were very good.
