More years of greatness. Decanted 1.5hours
Big black and blue fruit, cassis, red licorice, hints of vanilla, leather, white pepper, get a grey salty, tobacco, sage, minerality, bit of acidity. Silky tanins. A -

December 17, 2022 - I great shape, rich, big, creamy, slightly sweet stewed red and purple fruits. B&J X-mas party. Also had a 2007 Pax Viognier blend that tasted exactly like vanilla yogurt. Not sure which vineyard Syrah I brought.

January 24, 2019 - Heavy handed and a touch overripe. If you love high point wine you will like it. If you are in pursuit of balance, not so much. Thankfully this style is now out of favor.
