September 13, 2023 - 1 hour decant. Continued to evolve during dinner becoming more complex. I have the feeling that this is at a somewhat awkward point right now with primary flavors starting to become more muted and tertiary ones still in the background. Will save bottle 2 for a while and see what happens. Blackberry, chocolate on the palate and notable oak on the nose. Tannin and acid both medium and balanced.
