June 13, 2022 - An improved showing from last year, the QC shows another layer of succulence to match the medium-bodied lemony tang. The delivery is extremely balanced and surprisingly smooth, with a nicely placed citrus zing on the back end that ramps up the finish. Notably detailed, fresh, and pure, with a clean execution that is complimented by the lemon curd and subtle yellow peach flavors that keep it from being too sanitized.

Hold for another year or so, but otherwise this is an accessible wine even now. Sealed with natural cork. 93+ points (knocking on 94), with another potential point with some short-term cellaring to even better fill in its flavor profile with another layer of complexity.

March 10, 2022 - Justin's let's try a lot of daily drinkers dinner (The Capital Grille Tysons, VA): Medium expressive nose displaying very ripe yellow fruit, a bit straightforward. Medium concentration, lacking acidity. Another wine with "natural" wine feel.

August 28, 2021 - Lemon juice, chalk, wet white travertine, and lemon pith are pleasantly zingy but also primary and linear. Here there is enough 1er Cru intensity to keep the breadth of delivery at requisite levels, but there is still a youthful superficiality that holds the expansion in stricter form. Finishes with salivating acidity that maintains its higher register stature. Complexity and personality are in the background for now. Try again in 2-3+ years. Sealed with natural cork. 92-93 points.
