  December 5, 2012 - My last bottle was pleasant enough, but a bit tired. Cherry, cedar, tar, but a hole in the middle, and tannins take over. Either the vintage was unbalanced or I waited too long, or both. Still a pleasant wine, but Nebbiolo is capable of rising to a higher level than this.

  September 7, 2012 - Did something happen since my last tasting in March 2012? The wine I drank yesterday seemed much better; although the tannins did not seem in balance with the rest of the wine, I enjoyed it, from the cherry, cedar and tar nose, to the pleasant sour fruit backed with a nice acid kick. Perhaps its me, or it came out of a funk.

  June 17, 2012 - Very different experience for me with this wine. It was very brown around the edges of the glass and the nose was very off at first. Very dry and well integrated tannins. Nice sour cherry and a decent finish. I really enjoyed this bottle..
