October 27, 2022 - The 18 KOK was signing straight from the bottle tonight. Creamy texture with no sharp edges but precise dark fruit and some acidity. The most approachable NOK I’ve had. Prior note from 12 months ago holds true.

May 8, 2022 - Dark cherries, raspberries, earth, and so on. Beautiful wine with smooth edges and a lingering forever finish. You can hold if you can keep your hands off it. Beautiful wine!!

November 12, 2021 - Decanted for four hours. Cherry liqueur, dark raspberries, dark earth, hope chest, walnut shell and crumbling rock. Absolutely perfect with no edges. I love the depth and persona, with the utmost of elegance. The finish will not quit. The body is full, but not extracted at all. So pure and fine. An aftertaste that is utterly addicting. True red mineral accents. Truly epic on all levels and equal to the legendary ‘17. Really? Yes!! Drink 2026 -.

October 24, 2021 - Opened in the bottle all day never decanting. Texturally it got softer with time but the fruit never really came around. That said there’s still enough going on here to make a totally unique expression. Mixed dark fruit, cassis, pepper, anise, minerals, vanilla, charred earth…. Texturally dense, no sharp edges and enough acidity to give it some lift. Give it ten years.
