March 12, 2024 - Decanted for a couple hours, the nose shows scents of herbs, mint and tobacco, full bodied, dry, deep and complex flavors of blackberry, cigar, sage, mineral and black tea emerge, youthful tannins grip to the teeth but it is excellent and long, a perfect accompaniment with prime rib of beef, tons of cellar potential and really great value

February 6, 2024 - St.Emilion Grand Cru Classée values tasting: A step up from the 2021, this showed classic blue Merlot fruit with spices and a touch of sous bois. Fresh and elegant palate.

January 20, 2024 - Bordeaux Wine Tasting: Lush and fruity on the nose. Big but smooth on the palate. Mildly tannic, full body. General fruitiness.

December 23, 2023 - Crème de cassis, black walnuts, mocha, plums, flower shop and sour bois. Full and rich, with grip and cut. Polished tannins with a finish that sails on. There is this gorgeously juicy core, yet an aristocratic aspect throughout. Truly amazing and beyond classic. This ageless wonder is very surprising and addicting. Delicious today, but age will not hurt. Decanted for three hours and even better on day two paradoxically light with and yet has weight at the same time. Drink 2028 -.

November 21, 2023 - Inky purple-red in the glass. Smells very Merlot-heavy with velvety black fruit, some leather, earth and oak. Lush blackberries, plum, smoke, tobacco and vanilla on the palate. Solid acidity, but underwhelming overall IMO. Probably way too young still.
