May 18, 2024 - Deep purple in color; blackberries, plums and graphite on the nose; medium plus acidity; high tannins; tastes like prunes, blueberries, chocolate, and crushed gravel with a long finish. Nellie and I both like it.

December 4, 2023 - Wonderful pairing with my burger, this lots of pure black fruits and savory spice, coming across as rich without sweetness. Great value wine drinking well already now, but more likely even better in another year as the tannins soften a little more.

November 28, 2023 - Aromas of violets and sulfuric reduction.

    Smooth blackberries. Raspberry candy finish.

Seems sophisticated for malbec, but the reduction interferes with my ability to appreciate it.

November 26, 2023 - High acidity for a red with, a little cassis, quit strong tannins. Wine needs some food, not a typical smooth Malbec.

October 22, 2023 - I don’t usually drink Malbec, so got this from a local wine store to give it another shot. Paired with a pot roast, and hoped for the best.

It was very good. The deep blackberry / black currant flavor carried thru. The tannins and acidity gave it the body to stand up to the fatty beef and continue to shine.

On its own, getting lots of black fruit, earthiness, licorice, and a cedar finish.

I really appreciated that it was totally unoaked- really let the flavor of the grape and the winemakers process really shine through.

Very nice, and honestly very good at the price I paid.
