March 10, 2022 - Justin's let's try a lot of daily drinkers dinner (The Capital Grille Tysons, VA): Complex classic Cornas nose, tapenade, leather, dark spices and earth. Unfortunately, noticeable Brett. Fully mature but still a hint of tannins.

December 24, 2021 - Slow ox for an hour. Very smoky at first, then meaty, olive brine and finally after 3 hours or so, red and black fruits came out. Very elegant. Full of life. Loved it with aged ribeye.

January 30, 2021 - Age def does well with these wines. A bit more intense and less subtle than the Chave. I think there’s more oak on these. It’s pretty well integrated though. Drinking pretty nicely but also with a long life ahead.

November 26, 2020 - Quite rich, deep fruit, rustique, complete; this has local charm and is not as gemacht as later versions can be, tasted over 3 days, no signs of fatigue, only gets better, fresher, more precise.

July 6, 2020 - Still quite young. Was enjoyable. Has many years to go

(Alain Voge Cornas Vieilles Vignes) Opaque bricking red violet color; tart plum, brett, deep roasted fruit nose; very tasty, tart black fruit, olive palate; long finish (in a very good place now)
