Community Tasting Notes 5

August 5, 2018 - Typical chablis with steely minerality. Acidity was fading. Don't keep it much longer if in your cellar. Still had good fruit. Decent nose and finish

March 3, 2018 - La Paulée de SF Gala Dinner (Fairmont Hotel, SF CA): From Jero. Great volume of rich, ripe and sweet orchard fruit. Long and powerful. Still fairly primary and quite generous.

March 3, 2018 - La Paulée de San Francisco - Gala Dinner (The Fairmont - San Francisco CA): Small glass, brief note. From 3L. Bright and powerful orchard fruit throughout. Still nicely fresh.

June 28, 2008 - Lemon curd and heavy mineral. Smoke and Ramonetesqe spearmint notes. Lighter body, with high acidity/citricity from the vintage. Nice surprise.

November 1, 2007 - Wife and I were celebrating a Monday. Great wine. I skipped a single malt for this one and it was worth it. Appricot and pears jumped out first rounded out by a silty minerally tingly feel. It fisnished well and made m glad we had a few in the cellar. This will be a 200 dollar wine very shortly.
