March 10, 2023 - Last bottle of 3, couldn't resist getting into this one instead of waiting. Dark primary fruits just singing along- plum, prune, grapes, blackberries, and cassis. Tarry tannins give it a very earth finish. Purchased these $20 and wish I had another three I could have hidden away. See 7/2/22 note for more details.

I was VERY impressed with this bottle. Todd brought it. Had with some avg pizza on the bus after a gig in Charlottesville. Repeat. -

November 1, 2022 - This is a lovely wine. A nose of dark fruit and leather, full body silky palate with a ever so long finish ending in a tinge of acidity. Just great for the price and drinking great right now.

July 25, 2022 - Dense garnet colour, some oak, black fruit and something hard to pin down on the nose (blood? Rust?). Long complex finish. Well balanced, certainly drinking now
