  January 12, 2024 - Sometimes you just need a good sparkler that doesn’t breK the bank, and this one did the trick.
  Hue is only slightly pinkish, quite noce on the glass, with lively bubbles.
  Nose shows light raspberries, warm bread. Acidity is on point, as is the palate overall with some red berries, a light mousse. Now there are some bitter herbal notes that sort of intrude into the harmony of the wine - but again, given the price point we won’t complain - especially since the finish is long and lingering with notes of ripe apples and vanilla.
  
  Again, this does the job, and I would not hesitate to buy more just to have a good sparkler that doesn’t necessarily make me feel bad for opening it.

  August 28, 2023 - Fun fact—though CT calls this Cava, the producer created the designation Conca de Riu Anoia due to dissatisfaction with the Cava DOC.
  
  Another quirk: while this is technically a rosé sparkling wine, you’d have to be quite observant to notice the slightly pinkish hue or the aromatic influence of monastrell, which makes up only five percent of this wine.

  July 23, 2023 - PnP that showed well, but could have benefitted from a cooler serving temp. Acids and tannins are gentle, the bead is fine, and the color is quite a lovely pale salmon. Aromas are pleasing, finessed and suggest grape and place in an understated way. For the price, as I've come to expect these many years, it's a bargain - in some years more than others, this being good but, for my palate, just shy of very good. But that's picking nits; it's a winner. Drink sooner than later. Slightly better on day two, but in fairness, the serving temp was closer to 45F than 55F. recommended
