  January 11, 2020 - Popped and poured then followed for 3 hours. Ruby color. Nose of plum blossom, raspberry, violets, damp cellar, deep earth. Pure darker fruits on the palate, with layers of black raspberry, plum, anise, and iodine cut with stone and bits of iron. Some oak notes which blew off quickly. Refreshing acidity and smoothed off tannin. Longer finish of blue fruit, stone, and modest grip. Still exhibiting primary fruit at this stage, this is a delicious wine which will benefit from several more years in the cellar.

  October 24, 2019 - Outstanding, clean dark fruit, velvet texture, long and mineral finish. Lasted two days in the open bottle.

  September 5, 2019 - Outstanding. Beautifully integrated spice and earth with an undercurrent or still vibrant red fruit.

  June 3, 2019 - Soft and integrated with sweet berry fruit, hawflakes and cinnamon roll. Tannins were resolved. In a good spot. 91+
